One narrative. Four moving parts.
A voiceover-led announcement gave Polaris Fellowship a visual point of view. Creative direction, generated frame studies, motion and sound carried the narrative from script into an asset built for social and awareness advertising.
01 / 01Before the first frame, the film needed a point of view. Manifesto-style writing and a visual-direction board established how the Fellowship could speak, bringing the script, voiceover and graphic language into the same conversation.
Generated frame studies explored a coherent visual world for the narrative. Paper, collage, objects and graphic references gave the team material to shape into short, distinct moments rather than a single uniform treatment.
Familiar objects gave abstract programme ideas a more tangible form. Calendar imagery, paper layers and changes in scale helped turn the passage of time into something the audience could read within a brief film frame.
Some ideas needed a more structured graphic sequence to sit alongside the voiceover. Illustration, 3D elements and motion design gave those moments a clear hierarchy, with each frame built around the information it needed to carry.
Layered graphic elements became moving systems. Boards, logos and objects could separate, rotate and reassemble, giving the announcement a rhythm that followed the narrative while keeping individual messages distinct.
Sound design, developed with @karhisab, gave the cuts and transitions another layer of expression. The audio session connected the voiceover and moving graphics, helping the film work as one paced narrative.
